If you have played Astra Malorum, you know the map hides a big payoff: a trip to Mars. This is not a simple run. It is a set of steps that must be done in order. The tasks test your thinking, your teamwork, and your nerves. You can warm up in the CoD BO7 Bot Lobby first to learn the timing and get a feel for the puzzles without the pressure of a live match.
Get the Machina Astralis Ready
The first major task is inside the Machina Astralis room. This room has glowing runes and a large model of the planets that turns. You must find and flip five planetary switches. The switches match Mercury, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, and Mars. Some switches sit behind breakable walls. Some need a specific tool to reach them. Use the Plasma Cutter if you have one. After you flip all five switches, pull the lever on the central console. The model will spin and it will chime when the planets line up right. Then look up: a portal will shimmer above the pedestal. The portal opens for only a short time, so move fast.
Get Through the O.S.C.A.R. Lockdown
Passing the portal drops you into a guarded area where the O.S.C.A.R. system locks the zone down. Red lights flash and doors slam. The floor pulses with dangerous energy. You must find three emergency power cells in the side corridors. The cells glow faint blue. Bring them back and plug them into the main console in the command hub. When the cells are in place, a code sequence will appear on the walls. The numbers form a simple series, and you must enter them at the console to stop the laser grid. Hold your position while the lockdown timer runs down. When the lights go green, a door opens to the Observatory.
Solve the Martian Coordinate Puzzle
In the Observatory you stand on a fake Mars surface. Stone pillars around you show alien glyphs. On the far wall, find the “Stellar Map.” Use the telescope there to search the star field. A faint red dot will blink. That dot gives you a three-digit coordinate, for example 7-3-9. Write the digits down. Each digit maps to a glyph on a pillar: the first digit means the top glyph, the second means the middle glyph, and the third means the bottom glyph. Press the glyphs in that order. If you succeed, the ground will shake and one pillar will slide away. A glowing arch stands behind it. Walk through the arch to finish the main easter-egg and unlock the Mars section.
What You Find on Mars
When the final pillar moves, you arrive at a Martian hub. The hub gives you a few good rewards. You can pick up an exclusive “Red Planet” skin for your operator. You can also activate an Astral Beacon that spawns a steady supply drop at the hub. That supply drop helps in late rounds. The hub hides side quests that add story notes and rare blueprints for weapons. Explore every corner; the designers put small rewards in odd places.
Practice and Play It Safe
Run the sequence in the buy CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies before you try it in a real match. The bot lobby lets you test timing, try different weapon sets, and practice the puzzles with low risk. Start on Veteran difficulty to match the real-match pace. This lets you learn the flow and the signs to watch for. When you go live with friends, you will feel calmer and more ready.
