
Cooldown reduction (CDR) is one of those stats you really start to feel on Sorcs and Rogues in Diablo 4. Shaving seconds off your big skills means Sorcerers can keep that non-stop wave of spells rolling, while Rogues get to chain their burst windows way more often. More uptime = more damage, and in higher-tier content that can be the difference between wiping a pack or getting deleted.
Crit chance is the other half of the equation. For Sorcs, high Crit means those nukes hit like a truck, turning every cast into a potential screen wipe. For Rogues, it’s all about precision — crits let you shred enemies before they can even react. Stack enough of it and you’re basically flipping every fight in your favor.
The grind, of course, is balancing both stats without going broke. Anyone who’s rerolled affixes at the occultist knows how fast your Diablo 4 gold can disappear when you’re chasing CDR and Crit on the same item.
Attack speed (AS) rounds out the trio of key stats that benefit Sorcerers and Rogues in Season 10 of Diablo 4. Increasing AS allows these classes to unleash a flurry of attacks in rapid succession, overwhelming their enemies with a relentless assault. Sorcerers can cast spells with lightning speed, chaining together powerful incantations to keep foes off balance. Rogues, with their swift strikes and nimble movements, can exploit high AS to strike faster than their enemies can react, gaining the upper hand in combat.
In Diablo 4 Season 10, Sorcs and Rogues are looking like the biggest winners when it comes to stat caps. Cooldown reduction, crit chance, and attack speed are basically the holy trinity for both classes right now. Sorcerers get to keep their big nukes and defensive spells on a tighter rotation, while Rogues just melt stuff with faster combos and back-to-back crits.
The real grind, of course, is finding the right Diablo 4 items that roll with all three stats. Everyone knows how painful it is burning through gold and mats at the occultist just to try and hit the perfect affixes. But if you manage to land CDR + Crit + AS on a single piece, it’s game-changing — your build goes from “good” to “this actually feels broken.”
